Welcome to the Singapore Developer Community!

Singapore's first community organized web developer festival starts tomorrow and we couldn't be more excited! With more than 1200 registrations and 20+ events it's the biggest developer gathering in the region so far. Checkout the full event list!

Here are a few things you should know:

  • Our pre-registration opens at The Working Capitol, 1 Keong Saik Rd from on tomorrow, every work-day 10am to 5pm. Bring your photo-ID indicating your ticket holder name and you'll get our cool RFID DevFest.Asia wristband that gives you access to all the events you registered for. This way you can skip the registration queue at the events itself and use our self-checkin station.

  • We've created a location map showing you all the different event venues that host events to help you navigate the city. You can also add our events to your Google Calendar.

  • We couldn't do this without our amazing sponsors! They enable us to support our 16 community organizers to make this all happen! Give them a big round of applause and check them out!

  • If this is your first time to Singapore, find some helpful arrival information on this page.

  • Our JSConf.Asia sponsor Microsoft is hosting a Special-Edition meet-up for the Azure and .NET community on November 19th at 6:30pm at the NTUC centre, Level 7. Go check it out!

  • Join us on Friday night at our DevFest.Asia Welcome Party at the Kapok, National Design Centre, 111 Middle Rd, #01-05. Enjoy a drink on us if you come early! :)

  • Check out what else the Singapore Developer Community has to offer. There are already more than 60 regular meetups and many conferences even outside of DevFest.Asia.

  • If you signed up, we'll send you a quick reminder and more information to your inbox, so you know what's up. It's a good idea to also follow our Twitter account to stay in tune.

If you've feedback, send it right to [email protected]. My team and I are really excited and hope we'll get to meet many of you and are looking forward to great learnings and interesting conversations!

Best,

Thomas
